To Kick off the National Night Out Ceremonies on August 26 th , Mayor Avedisian and Council Woman Donna Travis thanked everyone for coming out to the event. It was suppose to be held on August 4 th but was rescheduled due to the storm. At National Night out there were many different groups/organizations that had tables set up such as The Greater Warwick Lions Club, Buttonwoods Crime Watch, Citizen’s Police Alumni Group, and the Oakland Beach Crime Watch and many more.   Some of the groups that were present were 211, American Red Cross, Gloria Gemma Foundation, and the Warwick Emergency Management Agency Mobile Command Center. Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been particapting in an online boot camp hosted by Katie McFarland from ( Mom’s Little Running Buddy).  You might be wondering how this online bootcamp works,  well for Katie’s groups on every Sunday she would send us a list of work outs to complete along with a challenge for each day. For week 1 this is what we had to accomplish.  Also Katie would do quick demo's of the work out moves on her periscope so we could know how to complete them the correct way without getting hurt.     During the second week everything was laid out again including the daily challenge which I liked very much. I found the challenge to be very helpful!  During the course of this online boot camp I learned some new work out movements that I never knew before!
